JOIN Our Committees

Committees are where the real work of the DPEC happens. Heading into the November election, we're concentrating our energy on the committees that matter most right now — and we'd love your help staffing them. You don't have to be a DPEC member to serve; committees are stronger when they include neighbors from across the parish.

Campaign Committee

Builds the overall plan for electing Democrats across St. Tammany — recruiting candidates, supporting their campaigns, and working to compete for every seat.
Are you someone who gets energized by elections and wants to help Democrats win up and down the ballot? This is where the strategy happens.

Precinct Organizing Committee

Recruits, trains, and supports the precinct captains and volunteers who carry our message to neighbors and turn out the vote, precinct by precinct.
Are you someone who likes connecting with neighbors and doing the on-the-ground work that actually wins elections?

Voter Education, Registration & Public Outreach Committee

Runs voter registration and education across the parish, keeps the community informed, and builds our public presence.
Are you someone who loves meeting people and helping them get registered, informed, and ready to vote?

Fundraising & Finance (AKA Budget & Finance) Committee

Plans our fundraising, tracks income and spending, and keeps our finances sound and compliant.
Are you good with numbers, or do you have a background in fundraising? Your skills would make a real difference here.
